Gergely Asztalos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. László Nemes's late challenge caught a Flamenco United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. László Nemes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute Edward Wuyts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Dala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungarian Olympic were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Flamenco United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krisztián Radnai took the corner. The corner ended in Krisztián Radnai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flamenco United's Romain Labrouche did a great save. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csaba Joó didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Freek Lembrechts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but János Dala skillfully saved the ball. Romain Labrouche came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungarian Olympic's István Császár. But to his dismay, István Császár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hungarian Olympic were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Flamenco United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krisztián Radnai took the corner. Máté Berta made a great header on Hungarian Olympic's corner, it was just that Flamenco United's Romain Labrouche managed to reach the ball for a save. The attack was good, but when Máté Berta in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. János Dala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Dechamps in the 36th minute of the match. Flamenco United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when István Császár scored to the left of an out of position Romain Labrouche, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordi Demeyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Flamenco United's Romain Labrouche got control of the ball when István Császár tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marten De Hond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Flamenco United's goal looked a bit too open when László Nemes came free, but Romain Labrouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hungarian Olympic's János Dala got control of the ball when Edward Wuyts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romain Labrouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Edelényi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes Flamenco United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Krisztián Radnai who took care of the corner kick. Krisztián Radnai made a great header on Hungarian Olympic's corner, it was just that Flamenco United's Romain Labrouche managed to reach the ball for a save. László Nemes struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Romain Labrouche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungarian Olympic. Romain Labrouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Nemes in the 79th minute of play.
