The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stephan Teunissen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Young Boys Enschede protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stephan Teunissen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Young Boys Enschede fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! 29 minutes into the game, Robin Mos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Young Boys Enschede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyál United the free kick. In the 53rd minute, László Medgyesi made a precise shot to the right of Jacco Heesen. Young Boys Enschede's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. István Juhász fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacco Heesen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Young Boys Enschede's Robin Mos got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Matthijs Jaliens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Young Boys Enschede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyál United the free kick. After 83 played minutes Young Boys Enschede got a freekick which was hit by Matthijs Jaliens. After having played for 84 minutes, László Medgyesi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyál United's supporters crossed their fingers, but László Medgyesi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Young Boys Enschede's Robin Mos got a free kick in the 84th minute. The Gyál United fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Gyál United's László Medgyesi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute, Balázs Berta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Young Boys Enschede got a freekick which was hit by Harmen Scheffer. László Medgyesi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacco Heesen having to make a save. Jacco Heesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Medgyesi in the 93rd minute of play. If László Medgyesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
