Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark de Zwaan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Young Boys Enschede's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Gerő came free, but Jacco Heesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark de Zwaan took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised József Bozsik. József Bozsik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 14 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Ateş Yavuzer. Lajos Kárpáti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacco Heesen. Young Boys Enschede's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Álmos Sárkány. Jacco Lanting hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Bátor Tigris sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacco Heesen skillfully saved the ball. After 38 played minutes Young Boys Enschede got a freekick which was hit by Jacco Lanting. In the 39th minute of the match Ignác Kárpáthy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacco Heesen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Álmos Sárkány sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

57 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's Gergely Gerő sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacco Heesen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bendegúz Oroszlán came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vérsárkány SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bendegúz Oroszlán couldn't finish the play. Young Boys Enschede's Jacco Heesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Kőváry in the 62nd minute of play. After 63rd play minutes Máté Kőváry shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Jacco Heesen and just under the crossbar into goal. Young Boys Enschede's Steve Bergmeester quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bendegúz Oroszlán, made in the 66th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Gergely Gerő managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vérsárkány SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gergely Gerő was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes, Álmos Sárkány mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vérsárkány SE and the Young Boys Enschede players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Álmos Sárkány hit a great ball. Stephan Teunissen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for József Bozsik. Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Titkos to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Young Boys Enschede got a freekick which was hit by Olof Wesseling. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Gergely Gerő got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. József Bozsik came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Young Boys Enschede's Edgar Degens. But to his dismay, Edgar Degens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Edgar Degens charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Degens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vérsárkány SE were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
