Mark de Zwaan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Teesing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark de Zwaan in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Olof Wesseling made a precise shot to the right of Erwin Teesing. ASC South United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Mark de Zwaan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Young Boys Enschede's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark de Zwaan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwin Teesing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacco Heesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Willem van den Brink in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jan-Willem van den Brink's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacco Heesen was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The ASC South United fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when ASC South United's Jan-Willem van den Brink looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 42nd minute Jan-Willem van den Brink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacco Heesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Young Boys Enschede's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Willem van den Brink came free, but Jacco Heesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mark de Zwaan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erwin Teesing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Wesseling in the 52nd minute of the match. Jacco Heesen made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jan-Willem van den Brink sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ASC South United booed when Young Boys Enschede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Mos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Mark de Zwaan came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Jan-Willem van den Brink notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Young Boys Enschede's Jacco Heesen. Jacco Heesen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Young Boys Enschede's Olof Wesseling got a free kick in the 69th minute. Edgar Degens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Teesing having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Jan-Willem van den Brink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Young Boys Enschede's Jacco Heesen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85th play minutes Olof Wesseling shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Erwin Teesing and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 95th minute of the match Geert Meerdink shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacco Heesen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Young Boys Enschede were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ASC South United for a fine match.
