The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Pino Van Mechelen hit a great ball. Stanny Van Wontergem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Béla Koplárovics went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Van Mechelen to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolphe De Maerschalckx during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stanny Van Wontergem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Berta in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Van Mechelen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Béla Koplárovics sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Béla Koplárovics managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pénzügyőr SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Béla Koplárovics was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanny Van Wontergem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pénzügyőr SE. Stanny Van Wontergem didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pénzügyőr SE's Ferenc Berta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 88 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Berta came free, but Stanny Van Wontergem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ferenc Berta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. YR Mechelen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andries Mangelschot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pénzügyőr SE fully deserved thier win.
