An unexpectedly hard shot by Luk Ombelets in the 10th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Tinko Gerovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ЦСКА's zone, Robbie De Kijser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tinko Gerovski came out of the goal and Robbie De Kijser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Anthonio Van der Willeghem hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Rüştü Preudhomme successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the game, Luk Ombelets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tinko Gerovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stoimen Dipchikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Robbie De Kijser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tinko Gerovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ЦСКА booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Demuynck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toncho Súrbinski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in ЦСКА fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! After the first half Olavarria FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Robbie De Kijser made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ЦСКА's zone, Robbie De Kijser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tinko Gerovski came out of the goal and Robbie De Kijser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vasil Yosifov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Venko Loginov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Preudhomme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tinko Gerovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luk Ombelets in the 62nd minute of the match. Rüştü Preudhomme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venko Loginov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Guillaume Carels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tinko Gerovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luk Ombelets in the 70th minute of play. After 74 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Venko Loginov. Olavarria FC's Rüştü Preudhomme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stoimen Dipchikov in the 80th minute of play. Tinko Gerovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luk Ombelets in the 82nd minute of the match. Liam Demuynck charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liam Demuynck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Liam Demuynck hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Venko Loginov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüştü Preudhomme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tinko Gerovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luk Ombelets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ЦСКА supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olavarria FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Olavarria FC.
