After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Oleg Gyuzelev got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tinko Gerovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoriy Muhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Ronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Gyuzelev in the 7th minute of play. Venko Loginov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pavel Ronin made a huge save. With his leg Pavel Ronin managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when ЦСКА's Venko Loginov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 13 minutes into the match, Oleg Gyuzelev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pavel Ronin, 1-0. With a little luck, ФК КрасноДАР's Pavel Ronin got control of the ball when Venko Loginov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gospodin Hadzhidimitrov hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Malin Sivchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tinko Gerovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marat Leonov in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernest Eremin made the kick off in the second half. Oleg Gyuzelev struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pavel Ronin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ЦСКА. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Dancho Vamporov got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tinko Gerovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Eremin in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Dancho Vamporov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oleg Gyuzelev came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the ЦСКА fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oleg Gyuzelev couldn't finish the play. Marat Leonov took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tinko Gerovski. Tinko Gerovski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of ФК КрасноДАР booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venko Loginov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernest Eremin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Bogdan Belberov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ЦСКА and the ФК КрасноДАР players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes ЦСКА got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Belberov. 73 minutes in the game Trayko Trendafilov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vasil Yosifov. After a defensive mix-up in ЦСКА's zone, Ernest Eremin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tinko Gerovski came out of the goal and Ernest Eremin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tinko Gerovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marat Leonov in the 78th minute. Pavel Ronin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Gyuzelev in the 80th minute of the match. Venko Loginov charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venko Loginov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venko Loginov kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oleg Gyuzelev in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Ronin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Dancho Vamporov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tinko Gerovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksandr Borisenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The ФК КрасноДАР players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ЦСКА from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
