Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferdinand Weijnants kicked off to start the match. Henk Wouters kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier got control of the ball when Reinaert Vischkens tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Weijnants had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herald Wouqier. Geetsvondel²'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Weijnants was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Reinaert Vischkens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herald Wouqier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Herald Wouqier came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Vliegplein's Reinaert Vischkens. But to his dismay, Reinaert Vischkens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Eddy Laporte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Weijnants got free with Herald Wouqier in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herald Wouqier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaert Vischkens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herald Wouqier came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Weijnants quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Geetsvondel² getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Reinaert Vrijdag hit a great ball. Sylven Vereeken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herald Wouqier having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaert Vischkens got free with Herald Wouqier in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48thth minute of the game Cedrik Goossens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cedrik Goossens was the one to do the kick off. Herald Wouqier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Laporte in the 55th minute of play. The corner led KFC Vliegplein's Jurgen De Rudder to fire away a dangerous shot which Herald Wouqier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Sylven Vereeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henk Wouters might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teo De Jonge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henk Wouters ran back to his position shaking his head. Benne Marichal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herald Wouqier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 67th minute of play. Reinaert Vischkens kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Cedrik Goossens came free, but Teo De Jonge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Geetsvondel² got a corner. KFC Vliegplein's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hannes Steenbecks ran over to the corner to take the kick. Geetsvondel²'s Hannes Steenbecks was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teo De Jonge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Geetsvondel²'s Henk Wouters in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Vliegplein's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octaaf Bosmans to maneuver through the defense. Teo De Jonge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Wouters's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Herald Wouqier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Benne Marichal came free, but Teo De Jonge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benne Marichal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo De Jonge having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KFC Vliegplein had won after a very even match.
