Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Mihály Földesi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Norman Zahn kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Vörös to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Köppen in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dénes Boross in the 9th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Ciro Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Hainl, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Róbert Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Bleich in the 14th minute of play. Ciro Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Földesi in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Norman Zahn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Róbert Kormos. The goal made the score 1-0. Tim Köppen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Tim Köppen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Vörös in the 27th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Ciro Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihály Földesi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Teyo saved International Thunders from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Dénes Boross. 32 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Bleich came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Mihály Csontos got a free kick in the 36th minute. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerrit Dohr in the 39th minute. When Tim Köppen came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the International Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Köppen couldn't finish the play. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Bleich, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Norman Zahn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Benjamin Bleich made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Dohr came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Dohr in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes of play, International Thunders's Norman Zahn made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Kormos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Köppen in the 55th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Zahn came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Bleich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Róbert Kormos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mihály Földesi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihály Földesi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Benjamin Bleich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Zsolt Vörös managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zsolt Vörös was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Bleich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Róbert Kormos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dénes Boross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Tim Köppen notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos. Róbert Kormos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Róbert Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Dohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. International Thunders's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Hainl in the 87th minute. Björn Hainl made a great header on International Thunders's corner, it was just that Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos managed to reach the ball for a save. International Thunders's Benjamin Bleich got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. International Thunders had played much better football throughout.
