The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milan Vaněček during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 2 minutes into the game, one of SK Slavia Bohnice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mario Šlégr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Weijnants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benjamin Doleček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislav Foldyna in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo De Jonge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Doleček could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Teo De Jonge made a huge save. Mario Šlégr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaert Vischkens in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Ferdinand Weijnants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Slavia Bohnice's Mario Šlégr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Weijnants in the 27th minute of play forced SK Slavia Bohnice's goalkeeper Mario Šlégr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Ferdinand Weijnants made a precise shot to the right of Mario Šlégr. SK Slavia Bohnice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, SK Slavia Bohnice's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Weijnants came free, but Mario Šlégr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Šlégr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaert Vischkens got free with Mario Šlégr in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josef Frank hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Weijnants had several of the SK Slavia Bohnice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Mario Šlégr as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jurgen De Rudder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo De Jonge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislav Foldyna in the 90th minute of play. KFC Vliegplein played a much better game than SK Slavia Bohnice and deserved their victory. The SK Slavia Bohnice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
