Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Limburg United's Douglas Debecker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Buitenhout FC's Rafael van Zeggeren got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 9 minutes of play, Limburg United's Douglas Debecker made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Cristofanini was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Yves Schollens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limburg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buitenhout FC the free kick. After 14 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Yves Schollens. 17 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Debecker came free, but Maximino Cristofanini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Vanneste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjaak Degens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis-Philippe Leyman in the 29th minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Maximino Cristofanini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwo Wietrzychowski got free with Julius Vanneste in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Debecker in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Cristofanini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Van Huele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Govert Meier's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Govert Meier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Govert Meier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis-Philippe Leyman in the 46th minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Maximino Cristofanini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Josef Van Huele heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

The wind increased when Sjaak Degens made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Iwo Wietrzychowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Vanneste came out of the goal and Iwo Wietrzychowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sjaak Degens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitenhout FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sjaak Degens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julius Vanneste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kris Deckkers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Cristofanini having to make a save. Julius Vanneste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sjaak Degens, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Antônio Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Buitenhout FC made a substitution. Robert Ramzinski replaced Sjaak Degens. A collision led to Buitenhout FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Antônio Alagoano hit a great ball.
