Hubert Villa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Siniša Mihajlović hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match FC Unterrudling got a corner. Szajk LC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Levente Makkai was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Szajk LC booed when FC Unterrudling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Nützel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd match minute, FC Unterrudling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xacobo Posada to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Roland Gergely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Gergely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Villa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Dávid Benkó got a free kick in the 77th minute. FC Unterrudling's Jan-Oliver Pässler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Szajk LC. After 80 minutes of play, FC Unterrudling's Xande Xande made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özdemir Babayiğit was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Unterrudling made a substitution. Raphael Huber replaced Gerhard Drücker. Özdemir Babayiğit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Xande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Szajk LC defense, Xande Xande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özdemir Babayiğit. The Szajk LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özdemir Babayiğit should have stopped the shot. Xande Xande scored 6-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özdemir Babayiğit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, György Schwarzenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szajk LC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Unterrudling.
