In the 21stth minute of the game Ronald Lammens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Várdomb's Roch Dudkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Várdomb's Sándor Gaál nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carsten Maurits made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Várdomb's Andor Pécsi was substituted for Bálint Tulipán. In the 30th minute Ronald Lammens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
