Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sándor Boros took the kick off in the first half of the match. Su Sang Hao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE defense, Virgilijus Mileška kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kálmán Szalay. The Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kálmán Szalay should have stopped the shot. Su Sang Hao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Stoil Tuechki managed to get in a good position for a shot. JET-M's supporters rose to their feet, but Stoil Tuechki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kálmán Szalay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferenc Némethy hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's zone, Denimir Katerski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kálmán Szalay came out of the goal and Denimir Katerski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferenc Némethy hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match JET-M got a corner. Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgilijus Mileška ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on JET-M's corner Radoslav Kúsmetski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kálmán Szalay quite easily take care of the ball. After 21 played minutes Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Némethy. Stoil Tuechki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kálmán Szalay having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilijus Mileška in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kálmán Szalay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Stoil Tuechki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kálmán Szalay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferenc Némethy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Boyan Stumbov made a huge save. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgilijus Mileška was slow to take the kick. During this time JET-M's players had a chance to rest. JET-M's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Sándor Boros scored to the left of an out of position Boyan Stumbov, making the score, 1-1. Kálmán Szalay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilijus Mileška in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Sándor Boros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sándor Boros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aladár Pálffy in the 38th minute of play forced JET-M's goalkeeper Boyan Stumbov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sándor Boros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Boyan Stumbov made a huge save. Kálmán Szalay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilijus Mileška in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's Aladár Pálffy got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilijus Mileška stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Virgilijus Mileška struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kálmán Szalay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JET-M. Stoil Tuechkis short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Kálmán Szalay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kálmán Szalay came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by JET-M's Denimir Katerski. But to his dismay, Denimir Katerski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. JET-M made a substitution. Borimir Rasolkov replaced Krastyo Radomirski. With his leg Kálmán Szalay managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when JET-M's Virgilijus Mileška fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's Ferenc Némethy got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svetlin Stratkov got free with Kálmán Szalay in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE's György Bíró seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed György Bíró the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Békéscsaba 1912 Előre SE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and György Bíró had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kálmán Szalay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilijus Mileška in the 91st minute of the match. Boyan Stumbov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ákos Tokody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The JET-M supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JET-M would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
