After a rather tough play, Bruly's Walter Wyns got a free kick in the 6th minute. Lennart Blommaert kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannis Van Lueven in the 8th minute of play forced FC Dharma Initiative's goalkeeper Etienne Izemborgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Dharma Initiative's Etienne Izemborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Puttemas in the 11th minute of play. Lennart Blommaert's late challenge caught a Bruly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Blommaert helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Dharma Initiative's Lennart Blommaert got a free kick in the 13th minute. Etienne Izemborgh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yannis Van Lueven, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dries Lanphant in the 21st minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Rudy Duchateau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Bruly's Yannis Van Lueven made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Etienne Izemborgh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Etienne Izemborgh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jacq Van hoegaerde hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Yannis Van Lueven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruly and the FC Dharma Initiative players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannis Van Lueven to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 51st minute Yannis Van Lueven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etienne Izemborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serge Jespers's late challenge caught a Bruly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Lennart Blommaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, FC Dharma Initiative's goalkeeper Etienne Izemborgh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Wyns. Rudy Duchateau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Blommaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bruly had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
