Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael van Zeggeren started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the KFC Paal-Tervant defense, Rafael van Zeggeren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willem-Jan Steuckens. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willem-Jan Steuckens should have stopped the shot. In the 9thth minute of the game Herbert Springelkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Paal-Tervant's Willem-Jan Steuckens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herbert Springelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Erben Medgyesi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KFC Paal-Tervant's Willem-Jan Steuckens. Willem-Jan Steuckens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Zhi Ling in the 15th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Steuckens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael van Zeggeren took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willem-Jan Steuckens. Willem-Jan Steuckens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Rafael van Zeggeren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Willem-Jan Steuckens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael van Zeggeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Rafael van Zeggeren made a precise shot to the right of Willem-Jan Steuckens. KFC Paal-Tervant's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Adolf van Goetsenhoven might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregor Compaan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolf van Goetsenhoven ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert Springelkamp in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willem-Jan Steuckens saved KFC Paal-Tervant from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erben Medgyesi in the 37th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Steuckens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willem-Jan Steuckens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Springelkamp in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael van Zeggeren came free, but Willem-Jan Steuckens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilian Weynants didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KFC Paal-Tervant players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FFC Merainies 03 were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartjan Parmentier to make the kick off. When Bartjan Parmentier fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Paal-Tervant's protests and gave Bartjan Parmentier a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 minutes, Nicolaas Van Hamme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Paal-Tervant and the FFC Merainies 03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Nicolaas Van Hamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led FFC Merainies 03's Youri Bemmel to fire away a dangerous shot which Willem-Jan Steuckens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When FFC Merainies 03's Rafael van Zeggeren in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Paal-Tervant's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Rafael van Zeggeren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willem-Jan Steuckens was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the game, Herbert Springelkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Willem-Jan Steuckens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Springelkamp got free with Willem-Jan Steuckens in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willem-Jan Steuckens made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Erben Medgyesi sent off a good shot on target. Rafael van Zeggeren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Willem-Jan Steuckens made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van Zeggeren in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willem-Jan Steuckens saved KFC Paal-Tervant from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Rafael van Zeggeren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willem-Jan Steuckens. Rafael van Zeggeren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erben Medgyesi got free with Willem-Jan Steuckens in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael van Zeggeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FFC Merainies 03 played a much better game than KFC Paal-Tervant and deserved their victory. The KFC Paal-Tervant players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
