Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) In the 4th minute Roberto Rivelino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Compaan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FFC Merainies 03's Gregor Compaan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van Zeggeren in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Rivelino in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Compaan saved FFC Merainies 03 from getting behind. Tonny Sneijder kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lemel SV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Youri Bemmel was slow to take the kick. During this time FFC Merainies 03's players had a chance to rest. Erben Medgyesi made a great header on FFC Merainies 03's corner, it was just that Lemel SV's Raymond Bos managed to reach the ball for a save. Gregor Compaan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Rivelino's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Lemel SV defense, Jiang Zhi Ling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Bos. The Lemel SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Bos should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Rafael van Zeggeren made a precise shot to the right of Raymond Bos. Lemel SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Jiang Zhi Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Roberto Rivelino made the kick off in the second half. Jiang Zhi Ling made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Youri Bemmel however managed to control. When Wim Mussies fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FFC Merainies 03's protests and gave Wim Mussies a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Wim Mussies hit a great ball. Gregor Compaan came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Lemel SV's Roberto Rivelino. But to his dismay, Roberto Rivelino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Marcus Tuhuteru fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemel SV's protests and gave Marcus Tuhuteru a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marcus Tuhuteru hit a great ball. Raymond Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Zhi Ling in the 58th minute of the match. Marcus Tuhuteru hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Raymond Bos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael van Zeggeren's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. FFC Merainies 03's Niek Bemmel suffered a sore thigh after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 67th minute of the match Marcus Tuhuteru completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcus Tuhuteru a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marcus Tuhuteru kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Herbert Springelkamp scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymond Bos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Erben Medgyesi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lemel SV's Rudi Hateboer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Raymond Bos got control of the ball when Herbert Springelkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute FFC Merainies 03 were awarded a corner. Youri Bemmel went to the cornerflag to take it. The throw-in from Erben Medgyesi in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lemel SV's Niels-Jan Carels. Rafael van Zeggeren took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymond Bos. Raymond Bos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 93rd minute, Michaelo Koole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Roberto Rivelino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregor Compaan. FFC Merainies 03's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Rivelino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The FFC Merainies 03 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
