An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Barciniak in the 6th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Aldo Candal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ziemowit Barciniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ziemowit Barciniak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Candal having to make a save. Ziemowit Barciniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Aldo Candal made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Arsenal F.C.'s Ziemowit Barciniak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Arsenal F.C.'s attentive Aris Potamiotis managed to snatch the ball when Casper Jannes made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. If Ziemowit Barciniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Pacho Carabajal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugge United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pacho Carabajal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Candal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Barciniak in the 26th minute of the match. Andrey Dvoryankin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pacho Carabajal went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Andrey Dvoryankin came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Pacho Carabajal. But to his dismay, Pacho Carabajal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aldo Candal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziemowit Barciniak in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Barciniak got free with Aldo Candal in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C.'s Filipp Loginov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Candal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raoul Lambert during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Brugge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Lambert to maneuver through the defense. Ziemowit Barciniak struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aldo Candal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazo Ziya in the 61st minute of play. Brugge United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casper Jannes in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Brugge United's corner Casper Jannes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andrey Dvoryankin quite easily take care of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Lazo Ziya came free, but Aldo Candal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C.'s Aris Potamiotis got a free kick in the 74th minute. Pacho Carabajal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Brugge United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lazo Ziya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
