When Vencel Pápai fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagyváradi AC's protests and gave Vencel Pápai a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Nagyváradi AC got a freekick which was hit by Vencel Pápai. Salomone Weber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jos Van Hinnendael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Cemal Metin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nagyváradi AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
