Dennis Beerthuis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Krstović in the 12th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Nesor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Hrdina was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Nikola Krstović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 43rd minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikola Krstović in the 46th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc van Nistelrooij made a kick off. In the 74thth minute of the game Nikola Krstović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nikola Krstović came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikola Krstović couldn't finish the play. Adam Hrdina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Gorbea in the 78th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFK Petržalka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
