Amílton Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Meira in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho Meira. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Carioca in the 11th minute of play. Amílton Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Martins in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Messias to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Genílson Marques hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olavo Carioca in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hortêncio Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amílton Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Poetass FC's Amílton Paraíba got control of the ball when Cafu Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amílton Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Qwinton in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Conrado Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindorama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Carioca in the 28th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olavo Carioca in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Hortêncio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dani Portillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Olavo Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Poetass FC's Olavo Carioca in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Poetass FC's Dani Portillo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Davi Botelho's late challenge caught a Poetass FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davi Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Pindorama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poetass FC:s goal. Amílton Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Qwinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Martins took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílton Paraíba. Amílton Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Cafu Martins got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Conrado Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílton Paraíba came out of the goal and Conrado Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílton Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Zé Pedro Salles got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Olavo Carioca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Hortêncio Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Poetass FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Poetass FC's Olavo Carioca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Carioca in the 96th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Bernardo Terra got a free kick in the 97th minute. Poetass FC's Deivid Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Although Pindorama had been in control for most of the match, Poetass FC still came away with the win.
