Spectators: 146 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Oséias de Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Lucas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Simão Zanette got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Vítor Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aloísio Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ reached it. Doni Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Vágner Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. After 17 played minutes ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Alcântara. Doni Meirelles came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Oséias de Castro. But to his dismay, Oséias de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Oséias de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Doni Meirelles made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Andrézinho Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oséias de Castro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Doni Meirelles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Andrézinho Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doni Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 minutes of play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Vágner Figueiredo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Gualter Mattos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfredo Reis to make the kick off. Doni Meirelles came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Gualter Mattos. But to his dismay, Gualter Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 58 played minutes ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Massa. 64 minutes into the game, Cléberson Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxaranguape - FSCMZ the free kick. A collision led to ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cléberson Diniz hit a great ball. Doni Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias de Castro in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrézinho Gaúcho in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doni Meirelles saved ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ from getting behind. If Oséias de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Mattos in the 85th minute of play forced ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s goalkeeper Doni Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Vágner Figueiredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doni Meirelles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s zone, Oséias de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Meirelles came out of the goal and Oséias de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
