Tales Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Dênis Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dênis Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gato Preto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Cássio do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Peixoto was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Cauan Abraão hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gato Preto FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Adalberto Coelho hit a great ball. When Vânderson de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the SeleSantos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vânderson de Moraes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cássio do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeleSantos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio do Vale in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrão Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Chicão Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 minutes of play Gato Preto FC's Cauan Abraão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's Cauan Abraão got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Gato Preto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José de Barros to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Henrique stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Cássio do Vale sped through Gato Preto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão Peixoto. In the 59th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Cássio do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Gato Preto FC's Dênis Alcântara got a free kick in the 65th minute. SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Pernambucano. Cássio do Vale hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Dênis Alcântara hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Cássio do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Chicão Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Gato Preto FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Paulo Renato Pernambucano hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Gato Preto FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Pernambucano. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio do Vale in the 80th minute of play. Cássio do Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Chicão Peixoto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bruno Henrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SeleSantos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
