Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilberto Valadares kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Reinaldo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes of play, SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Valadares came free, but Tales Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Garcia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Tales Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Domingues went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Francisco Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Tales Siqueira. SeleSantos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Arí Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales Siqueira. SeleSantos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Marcelinho Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Fantini having to interfere. Vivaldo Loureiros short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Arnaldo Fantini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Loureiro came free, but Arnaldo Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Gilberto Valadares notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira. Tales Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vivaldo Loureiro was the one to do the kick off. Alvinegro de Tupã's Francisco Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Alvinegro de Tupã booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaldo Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Francisco Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gilberto Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Alvinegro de Tupã fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Valadares couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Loureiro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Fantini saved Alvinegro de Tupã from getting behind. In the 71st minute Vivaldo Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Garcia got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some careless play in the Alvinegro de Tupã defense, Marcelinho Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Fantini. The Alvinegro de Tupã fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Fantini should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Olavo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvinegro de Tupã's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvinegro de Tupã's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Fantini was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The SeleSantos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alvinegro de Tupã's performance. The match ended with a win for Alvinegro de Tupã.
