An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Mota in the 11th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Tostão Mota made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Haridades F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th minute, Moisés Dracena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hélder Severo. The goal made the score 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, Haridades F.C's Ernesto Coelho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 76 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Pinheiro. After 77 played minutes, São José City - FSCMZ's Baltazar Camargo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in São José City - FSCMZ reached it. The supporters of Haridades F.C booed when São José City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball.
