Baltazar Camargo was slow to take the kick. During this time São José City - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Baltazar Camargo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AITEC's Claes Feuereisen did a great save. After 25 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Lara. São José City - FSCMZ's Baltazar Camargo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claes Feuereisen but with some difficulty. In the 28th minute, Reginaldo Bueno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claes Feuereisen. The goal made the score 2-0. São José City - FSCMZ's Nelsinho Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Reginaldo Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the São José City - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginaldo Bueno couldn't finish the play. Claes Feuereisen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginaldo Bueno in the 42nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reginaldo Bueno made a kick off. Claes Feuereisen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Cunha scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claes Feuereisen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as AITEC's Augusto Vides slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Severo. That made the score 3-1 after 61 minutes of play. Hélder Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Raí Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, São José City - FSCMZ's Tostão Mota got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 91st minute, AITEC's Raí Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reginaldo Bueno in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Feuereisen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. São José City - FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
