Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Richard Tavares started the match with the kick off. Hudson das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Edu de Mendonça notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AITEC's Paulo Renato Prestes. Paulo Renato Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rune Myr struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Paulo Renato Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aurora FC. 13 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paulo Renato Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rune Myr charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Myr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horácio Queiroz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. AITEC's Paulo Renato Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Rossi in the 22nd minute of play. Dedé Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Renato Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Myr in the 35th minute of the match. Paulo Renato Prestes came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Aurora FC's Rune Myr. But to his dismay, Rune Myr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Horácio Queiroz hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half Aurora FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Myr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Aurora FC's Horácio Queiroz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Renato Prestes. That made the score 0-5 after 58 minutes of play. Paulo Renato Prestes made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Andrézinho Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Dedé Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Jacinto in the 66th minute of play forced AITEC's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Rune Myr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Renato Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Paulo Renato Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrézinho Rossi went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, AITEC's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Loureiro. Paulo Renato Prestes made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Andrézinho Rossi sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Rune Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrézinho Rossi came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulo Renato Prestes could save by the left post. Armandinho Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu de Mendonça got free with Paulo Renato Prestes in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Renato Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Myr in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Rune Myr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Renato Prestes. AITEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Myr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 97th minute Armandinho Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Rune Myr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Renato Prestes. AITEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Myr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. The AITEC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aurora FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
