In the 4th minute Olavo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Messias in the 6th minute of play forced Dinamo Web Clube's goalkeeper Silvério Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mané Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo Web Clube's protests and gave Mané Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. Mané Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Texugo Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adhemar Veloso hit a great ball. Adhemar Veloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvério Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Texugo Futebol Clube defense, Reginaldo Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho Gonçalves. The Texugo Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho Gonçalves should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Natã Lima made a precise shot to the right of Vitinho Gonçalves. Texugo Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Haroldo de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Silvério Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baki Salat in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Baki Salat put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Vitinho Gonçalves. After 27 minutes, Laércio Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinamo Web Clube and the Texugo Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Texugo Futebol Clube booed when Dinamo Web Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Sidney Albuquerque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvério Cruz skillfully saved the ball. Haroldo de Alcântara scored 1-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvério Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Web Clube's Mané Camargo got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo de Alcântara got free with Silvério Cruz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Dinamo Web Clube getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mané Camargo hit a great ball. Texugo Futebol Clube's Vitinho Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Coelho in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Dinamo Web Clube were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baki Salat was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo de Alcântara in the 71st minute of play forced Dinamo Web Clube's goalkeeper Silvério Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tostão Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tostão Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Texugo Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Baki Salat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitinho Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Baki Salat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Vitinho Gonçalves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Baki Salat had several of the Texugo Futebol Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Vitinho Gonçalves as he didn't even see the shot coming. Baki Salat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Vitinho Gonçalves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natã Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Gonçalves having to interfere. Edinho Goiano hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Silvério Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Vasconcelos in the 93rd minute of the match. Haroldo de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Silvério Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinamo Web Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
