In the 9th minute, Aírton Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval Messias in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Tavares in the 16th minute of the match. Reginaldo Trigo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Tavares in the 18th minute of play. Gugu Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Vitinho Gonçalves made a huge save. After 28 minutes of play, Quebra Ossos FC's Gugu Saldanha made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitinho Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitinho Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gugu Saldanha in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Texugo Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebra Ossos FC the free kick. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Texugo Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Veloso took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Breckenfeld. Richard Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Haroldo de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Haroldo de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Corrêa made a kick off. If Betão Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. When Olavo Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Texugo Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo Tavares couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Texugo Futebol Clube's Haroldo de Alcântara got a free kick in the 78th minute. Haroldo de Alcântara came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Breckenfeld could save by the left post. Vitinho Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Marinho in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Texugo Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Messias to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
