When Paulão Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the VARGINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulão Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. Tiago Gabriel Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Kauan Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cauan Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Aírton Maciel hit a great ball. Gabriel Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Caxinha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme do Vale came free, but Cauan Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cauan Queirós made a huge save. Cauan Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Norberto Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caxinha F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Vidal made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Caxinha F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Recife. VARGINHA FC's Gabriel Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Nóbrega in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caxinha F. C.'s Eriberto Prestes got a free kick in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Denílson Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cauan Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Recife in the 78th minute of the match. Cauan Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme do Vale in the 80th minute of play. Régis Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes VARGINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Dante. Gabriel Medeiros was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Maicon Carioca. Cauan Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Meireles in the 88th minute of the match. Aírton Maciel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovânio Saldanha during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes VARGINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Saldanha. When Lucas Recife came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Caxinha F. C. fans jumped to their feet.
