Coice de Mula's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kauan Meireles 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Neves in the 25th minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Coice de Mula's Fernando Lara got a free kick in the 25th minute. Claudinei Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guilherme do Vale was the one to do the kick off. Claudinei Vieira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Medeiros came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinei Vieira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 87th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VARGINHA FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coice de Mula had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
