Felipe Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Jr Familia Campos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Vinhas came free, but Felipe Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Matías Falcão took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Felipe Koehler to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when Jr Familia Campos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Lara in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caio Ceresso in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Jr Familia Campos FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Douglas Dionísio hit a great ball. Felipe Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Falcão in the 32nd minute of the match. Felipe Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Matías Falcão took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Felipe Koehler to make any attempt to save it. Matías Falcão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Koehler having to make a save. Felipe Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Vinhas in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 66th minute, Walmyr Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jr Familia Campos FC's Júlio Arruda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Werneck FC - DMZ. Fernando Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Felipe Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Betinho Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Matías Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Koehler was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Matías Falcão took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Koehler. Felipe Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Jr Familia Campos FC defense, Matías Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Koehler. The Jr Familia Campos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Koehler should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Werneck FC - DMZ had won after a very even match.
