Wellington Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Green Squad FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hugo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio Bulls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wellington Figueiredo in the 12th minute. A nice corner shot did that Wellington Figueiredo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Diniz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 16 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Nóbrega came free, but Hugo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio Bulls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wellington Figueiredo in the 18th minute. Hugo Diniz was a little too slow when Emanuel Nóbrega got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Cláudio Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Barros in the 31st minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Barros in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Jacinto saved Grêmio Bulls from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Green Squad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Nóbrega came free, but Hugo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Moraes to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Elói Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Emanuel Nóbrega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Diniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Figueiredo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Hugo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Nóbrega in the 59th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Wellington Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Jacinto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonardo Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. Hugo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Leonardo Barros sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marcel Jacinto made a huge save. In the 94th minute Leonardo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
