Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benedito Sampaio made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Eliézer Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 3 minutes, German Cano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Squad FC and the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Reinaldo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Reinaldo Damião made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Leonardo Barros sent off a good shot on target. When Leonardo Barros came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Green Squad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Barros couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Marquinhos Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Marquinhos Arce got a free kick in the 31st minute. Hugo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Sampaio in the 34th minute of play. If Eliézer Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Benedito Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Diniz. Green Squad FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Barros made a kick off. Reinaldo Damião came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros. But to his dismay, Leonardo Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 55th minute Leonardo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Leonardo Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 62nd minute, Válter Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Squad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Reinaldo Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Barros went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedito Sampaio in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, Diego Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Squad FC the free kick. Diego Velloso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s zone, Jorge Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Damião came out of the goal and Jorge Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reinaldo Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Barreto in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- defense, Leonardo Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Damião. The Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Damião should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Válter Barreto came free, but Reinaldo Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elói Leme scored 8-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinaldo Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Elói Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Green Squad FC fully deserved thier win.
