An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Marinho in the 6th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Marinho in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Domingues came free, but Richárd Richards reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caatiba MZC's Benedito Domingues managed to work through SRP-Laguna's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Benedito Domingues dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 29th minute Marcelo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SRP-Laguna's Richárd Richards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Ortiz in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hong Køng to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Dinei Moraes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richárd Richards showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Luís Paulo Batista got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Endrick Gol in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Quirino saved Caatiba MZC from getting behind. Adrianinho Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Richárd Richards didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caatiba MZC. In the 45th minute, Endrick Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SRP-Laguna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Caatiba MZC's zone, Endrick Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Quirino came out of the goal and Endrick Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Quirino having to interfere. Endrick Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Hong Køng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SRP-Laguna and the Caatiba MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 87 minutes into the match, Endrick Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Quirino. Caatiba MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endrick Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Endrick Gol got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Endrick Gol fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. Richárd Richards didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedito Domingues went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
