After 6 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Botelho. A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Mineiro hit a great ball. When Raimundo Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Maverick Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Abraão couldn't finish the play. With his leg Michel Montenegro managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when ✪ XV de Umarizal's Lucas Moura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lucas Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remo Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sherlock Holmes went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Remo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherlock Holmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Luiz Guilherme Mendes got a free kick in the 29th minute. Raimundo Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of James Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Sherlock Holmes took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo Amaral. Remo Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Alfredinho Massa came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Maverick Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Massa couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Eduardo Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Motta. 56 minutes into the match, Lucas Moura notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro. Michel Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Wit Chuchro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Remo Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherlock Holmes in the 67th minute of the match. Alfredinho Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredinho Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredinho Massa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alfredinho Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maverick Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Massa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Amaral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sherlock Holmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. After 85 minutes of play Maverick Futebol Clube's Alfredinho Massa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes into the game, one of Maverick Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Michel Montenegro had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Rodrigo Nestor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Rodrigo Nestor did a trick in the 88th minute in front of Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-4. An impressive performance by ✪ XV de Umarizal's Rodrigo Nestor! Kauan Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauan Pires hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Abderaouf Bensaoula managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When the match was over Maverick Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ✪ XV de Umarizal throughout the match.
