With a little luck, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Claudinei Esteves got control of the ball when Donato Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cauã Vianna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudinei Esteves. That made the score 2-1 in the 13 minute of play. Tales Leite's late challenge caught a New Loser FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales Leite helped the player get up and apologised. When Alexandros Pantazakos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the New Loser FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandros Pantazakos couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as New Loser FC's Cauã Vianna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Esteves. That made the score 3-1 after 26 minutes of play. 29 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's Alexandros Pantazakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandros Pantazakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Aírton Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aírton Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Berger in the 96th minute of play. New Loser FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
