Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donato Messias kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Pantazakos came free, but Karl Österberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match New Loser FC got a corner. TAQUARI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Rosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marcel Rosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg did a great save. In the 13th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Silva to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Donato Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eliseu Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo França in the 29th minute of play. Karl Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Pantazakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Gaxan Vallejoller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Aírton Quirino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Österberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Alexandros Pantazakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Österberg was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Alexandros Pantazakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Österberg. TAQUARI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Pantazakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. TAQUARI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gilmar Paes hit a great ball. Karl Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Pantazakos in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Paulo França made a kick off. TAQUARI FC's Karl Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Messias in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match TAQUARI FC got a corner. New Loser FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zézinho Freire ran over to the corner to take the kick. TAQUARI FC's Philipp Lahn was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseu Negri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st minute Donato Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo França in the 63rd minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Messias in the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Ronaldinho Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TAQUARI FC were furious when Váldson da Silveira was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in TAQUARI FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! TAQUARI FC:s Karl Österberg showed great skill when he stopped Marcel Rosa:s penalty. After 89 minutes, Erik Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Loser FC and the TAQUARI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Erik Eger got a free kick in the 89th minute. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilmar Paes hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Karl Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Loser FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
