Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maurinho Prestes kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Maurinho Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Christiano Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 5 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Donatello. If Maurinho Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorginho Mazza hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Papunhas EC's Frédson Rosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christiano Trevisan. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Maurinho Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Christiano Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sá to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho Mazza during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christiano Trevisan was a little too slow when Frédson Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Papunhas EC's Frédson Rosa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christiano Trevisan. Frédson Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Trevisan having to interfere. Jorge Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Oliveira having to interfere. Joaquim da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Kaká Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morro Grande E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papunhas EC the free kick. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Morro Grande E.C! Frédson Rosa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Donatello made a kick off. Betinho Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Sá in the 55th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Ribeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. João Paulo Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Elói Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Jorginho Mazza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruy Oliveira, 5-1. 66 minutes into the game, Frédson Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papunhas EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Frédson Rosa hit a great ball. Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Papunhas EC. After 78 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Rosa. In the 79th minute, Elói Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur do Nascimento scored 7-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christiano Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sá. Guilherme Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christiano Trevisan having to make a save. Ruy Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilian de Almeida in the 91st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Morro Grande E.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Papunhas EC.
