Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Saiko FC from getting a goal against them. Afonsinho Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Giuseppe de Carvalho made a huge save. Giuseppe de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Mineiro in the 7th minute of the match. Charles Arantes succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Berger in the 18th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Berger came free, but Giuseppe de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Saiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Saiko FC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Mineiro came free, but Giuseppe de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Mineiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 36 minutes of play, Portuguesa's Charles Mineiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giuseppe de Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Arantes in the 41st minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Giuseppe de Carvalho made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Waldir Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Giuseppe de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Faria in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Charles Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portuguesa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Giuseppe de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Arantes in the 57th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Charles Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giuseppe de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 68 minutes into the match, Sidnei Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe de Carvalho. Saiko FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidnei Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 71st minute, Charles Arantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portuguesa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 74 minutes into the match, Charles Arantes notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho. Giuseppe de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giuseppe de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Arantes in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saiko FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yuri de Queiroz was slow to take the kick. During this time Portuguesa's players had a chance to rest. Portuguesa's Yuri de Queiroz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giuseppe de Carvalho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Faria in the 81st minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Sidnei Faria put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Giuseppe de Carvalho. In the 86th minute Sidnei Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Faria took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe de Carvalho. Giuseppe de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Charles Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portuguesa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
