Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) When Luiz Fábio Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the MINEIROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fábio Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Goiano in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Nando Leão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Pedro dos Santos. Nando Leão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as MINEIROS's Nico de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Pedro dos Santos. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serginho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Goiano in the 22nd minute of the match. João Pedro dos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico de Mendonça went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Naldo Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro dos Santos having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MINEIROS the free kick. Dário Diniz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serginho Taffarel. Serginho Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Dinei Goiano put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Serginho Taffarel. João Pedro dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Nico de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Fábio Schmidt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Pedro dos Santos came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Fábio Schmidt slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 43rd minute. Benê Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Leão in the 52nd minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper João Pedro dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. João Pedro dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Leão in the 63rd minute of play. MINEIROS made a substitution. Maicon Quintal replaced Benê Amorim. Nando Leão hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Christian Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Serginho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Maicon Quintal notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Wambalamba FC's João Pedro dos Santos. João Pedro dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Pedro dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Leão in the 78th minute of the match. Nico de Mendonça took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Pedro dos Santos. João Pedro dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. In the 92nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MINEIROS fully deserved thier win.
