Paulo Cestarolli charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Cestarolli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the Cestarolli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 78 minutes on the clock, Vinícius Lott commited a dangerous tackle.
