After some careless play in the TRICOSHOW F.CLUB defense, Bob Chute kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Zonta. The TRICOSHOW F.CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Zonta should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Wágner Ribeiro made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Luiz Paulo Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuca Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 13 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Ferraz. Dieguinho Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wágner Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Zonta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zico Matamoros went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Tavares in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wágner Ribeiro saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. Bob Dinamite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Zonta having to interfere. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's José Lopes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valério Peres in the 25 minute of the game. Dieguinho Massa in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wágner Ribeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Peres to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Gabriel Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when TRICOSHOW F.CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Massa might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieguinho Massa ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Ribeiro having to interfere. Samuca Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Dinamite in the 39th minute of play. A hard shot 42 in the game by Dieguinho Massa from a close distance when the talented Wágner Ribeiro managed to make a qualified save. Misericordia EC's players were relieved. If Gabriel Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieguinho Massa made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Misericordia EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Percy Madureira was slow to take the kick. During this time TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Percy Madureira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro did a great save. 55 minutes into the game, one of Misericordia EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The corner led TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Percy Madureira to fire away a dangerous shot which Wágner Ribeiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Tavares in the 59th minute of play. When TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Dieguinho Massa in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gabriel Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. Misericordia EC's Wágner Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Tavares in the 70th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Gabriel Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wágner Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Zico Matamoros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misericordia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zico Matamoros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to TRICOSHOW F.CLUB getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. José Lopes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Tavares in the 88th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Wágner Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Lopes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Samuca Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Chute, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Misericordia EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TRICOSHOW F.CLUB.
