Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fábio Bezerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Carlinhos Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Souza in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Nas Horas Vagas F.C booed when Wakanda fv FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Virgílio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Souza in the 8th minute of play forced Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Carlinhos Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Virgílio Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Nas Horas Vagas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Ferraz couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Fábio Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgílio Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Carlinhos Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wakanda fv FSCMZ defense, Virgílio Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Chaves. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Chaves should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Alagoano's late challenge caught a Nas Horas Vagas F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. Carlinhos Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Souza in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes in the game Hugo Furlan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Virgílio Ferraz. In the 28th minute, Virgílio Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Cleiton Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlinhos Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Aírton Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aírton Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wakanda fv FSCMZ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Aírton Rosa hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Wakanda fv FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Rosa. If Conrado Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wakanda fv FSCMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Osvaldo Alagoano hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Souza in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carlos de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nas Horas Vagas F.C's protests and gave Carlos de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Nas Horas Vagas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Carlos de Castro. After the first half Nas Horas Vagas F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Wakanda fv FSCMZ's zone, Virgílio Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Chaves came out of the goal and Virgílio Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute of the game Osvaldo Alagoano made a throw-in which Severino Santo played forward. 62 minutes into the game, Virgílio Ferraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlinhos Chaves. Virgílio Ferraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Wakanda fv FSCMZ's zone, Conrado Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Chaves came out of the goal and Conrado Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Conrado Camargo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Fábio Bezerra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Léo Vianna took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Chaves. Carlinhos Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 77th minute, Edu Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Edu Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Virgílio Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's goalkeeper Carlinhos Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Souza. In the 94th minute, Virgílio Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Maria de Senna hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Nas Horas Vagas F.C played a much better game than Wakanda fv FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
