Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luizão Peixoto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Miguel Baptista came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Edvaldo Leal. But to his dismay, Edvaldo Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Peixoto in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Pereira in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Baptista saved Karaboudjan from getting behind. Luizão Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Capivara FC's Lúcio Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Capivara FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Negri to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Pereira to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Luciano Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Miguel Baptista made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Baltazar Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes, Karaboudjan's Luizão Peixoto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Karaboudjan reached it. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizão Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lúcio Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Karaboudjan's Antony Donnelly made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivo Furtado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
