In the 6th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Xavier to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute of the match Silas Lira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateus Vargas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alessandro Meirelles hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Célio Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gildo Braga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Célio Varela. BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 17 played minutes BOA VISTA E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Cearense. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Oswaldo Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Claudinho Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Célio Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Meirelles came free, but Mateus Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Omar in the 34th minute of play. Maximiliano Omar came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Célio Varela could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Maximiliano Omar could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Célio Varela however easily saved by the left post. Maximiliano Omar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Célio Varela made a huge save. Mateus Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Omar to strike the kick off in the second half. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Mangueira in the 51st minute of play. Alessandro Meirelles hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Célio Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Marcelo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio Varela. BOA VISTA E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Omar in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Varela saved BOA VISTA E.C. from getting behind. Claudinho Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Maximiliano Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Arlindo Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOA VISTA E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil Academy the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Arlindo Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
