With a little luck, Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar got control of the ball when Arthur Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedrinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Torres in the 9th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper Cássio Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Camargo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Torres in the 20th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Alvinegro Carioca were awarded a corner. Sydney Torres went to the cornerflag to take it. Sydney Torres made a great header on Alvinegro Carioca's corner, it was just that Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Alvinegro Carioca's Yan das Neves got a free kick in the 24th minute. Geovani Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Ferreirinha Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Ciro Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Alvinegro Carioca getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gabriel Donato hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Leandro Camargo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cássio Aguiar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sydney Torres was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Sydney Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes Alfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Luz. Cássio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferreirinha Vinhas in the 56th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Alvinegro Carioca's Sydney Torres made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Otávio Lima fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfa FC's protests and gave Otávio Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Otávio Lima got a free kick in the 86th minute. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 94th minute, Ferreirinha Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Aguiar. Alvinegro Carioca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Alfa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
