The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses da Mata in the 3rd minute of play. Wellington Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bata Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cleiton Severo hit a great ball. Duarte Mineiro scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wellington Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses da Mata in the 21st minute of play. Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Mineiro in the 23rd minute of play. José Maria Pontes made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Monge Mong sent off a good shot on target. Wellington Abraão came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by COURO COME FC's Hélio Furtado. But to his dismay, Hélio Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Leandro de Carvalho scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Ulisses da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. COURO COME FC's Ulisses da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monge Mong kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Azevedo in the 48th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leandro Damião to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Ulisses da Mata could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Wellington Abraão however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Abraão got control of the ball when Ulisses da Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monge Mong in the 75th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo Colorado's Slaviša Macanović was substituted for Rui Coutinho.
