When Barrenta SC's Sydney Carioca in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Gerber in the 21st minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Jean dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Carioca came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonsinho Brodel charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Brodel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Barrenta SC's Hugo Gerber shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean dos Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrenta SC reached it. In the 31st minute, 楚庭潮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Sydney Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 楚庭潮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Trigo having to interfere. Barrenta SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Gerber in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Gerber got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean dos Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Horácio Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Trigo came out of the goal and Horácio Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Azevedo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Lopez during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 57 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Carioca came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Walmyr Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 68th minute, 楚庭潮 made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Trigo. Barrenta SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Luiz Fábio Lima replaced Thomás Braga. 楚庭潮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Celsinho Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remedios SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrenta SC the free kick. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Barrenta SC were the better team. Barrenta SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
