Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Remedios SC's Chivu Quintana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 楚庭潮 might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flávio Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 楚庭潮 ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean dos Santos. Jean dos Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 楚庭潮 took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flávio Fantini. Flávio Fantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 19th minute, Acácio Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Alves got free with Jean dos Santos in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Remedios SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cláudio Leite was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C.PAULISTA's players had a chance to rest. S.C.PAULISTA's Cláudio Leite was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean dos Santos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute, Amílton Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 楚庭潮 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flávio Fantini having to make a save. If 楚庭潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 楚庭潮 in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. Flávio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 楚庭潮 in the 51st minute of the match. S.C.PAULISTA's Cláudio Leite quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 庄康竞, made in the 55th minute of the game. Jean dos Santos came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.PAULISTA's Acácio Alves. But to his dismay, Acácio Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's José Pedro Duarte got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 楚庭潮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chivu Quintana in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, S.C.PAULISTA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celsinho Goiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 74th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Bastos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 楚庭潮 in the 81st minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Flávio Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Flávio Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If 楚庭潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chivu Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
